The number of bacteria in a sample doubles every hour. How many bacteria cells will there be after 8 hours if there is one cell at the beginning? Write your answer as a power

    2nd hour:4 3rd hour:8 4th hour:16 5th hour:32

    6th hour:64 7th hour:128 8th hour:256

    I think the answer's 256, I'm not 100% sure, though
