Had do I divide fraction into decimal 1/2=?

Since, 100 = to 1.00 so

divide 1 by 2 which equal to 0.5

How I would divide a fraction is you divide 1 by 2 so if you are doing the box thing to divide you would put the 1 inside the box and the 2 outside. since 2 can't go into 1 you would put a zero on top of the 1. beside the 0 you would put a decimal. the subtract 1 from 0 and you get 1 after bring down a zero and you get 10. 2 divided by 10 is 5. so your answer would be. 5 or 0.5.
