How can you use slope intercept form to write an equationof a line given its slope and y intercept

    If you have the slope and y-intercept of the line, all you need to do to get the equation of it is to put those values into the base form of the equation. The base form of the equation is below.

    y = mx + b

    The m value is the slope and the b value is the intercept. If you put both of those in, then you have the equation.
