    I think 6.4m is more precise, no explain atom, just saying

    By definition, precision is when recorded values are all close to each other, ex: 2.0, 2.1, 2.3

    So by definition this doesn't really apply, whoever wrote the question probably didn't keep in mind the true meaning of precision, at least in chemistry.

    This being said, the common connotation of precise would lead me to think the correct answeris 5.8mm
