Assume that a DVD player loses 60% of its value every year it is a video store. Suppose the initial number of the DVD player was $80.

What multiplier would you use to calculate the DVD players new values

    a.) 0.4 is the multiplier

    b.) $32 after 1 year, $2.048 (or $2.05) after 4 years

    c.) V (t) = 80 (0.4) t

    d.) 10 years because it will be below 2 cents

    e.) [The graph isn't hard, you just have to plug in the numbers into y=80 (0.4) ^x]
