    Let one be x, the other is 2x + 6.

    Since they form a linear pair they both add up to 180 degrees.

    x + 2x + 6 = 180

    3x + 6 = 180

    3x = 180 - 6

    3x = 174

    x = 174/3 = 58

    2x + 6 = 2*58 + 6 = 122

    The measure of each angles are 58 and 122 degrees.

    We let x and y represent the two angles,

    y = 2x + 6

    It was stated in the problem that these angles given are a linear pair. Angles in linear pair are said to add up to 180 degrees. Thus,

    y + x = 180

    2x + 6 + x = 180

    3x = 174

    x = 58°

    y = 122°
