Find the surface area of a cylinder with diameter 5.8 mm and height 11.9 mm.

    A = 2πrh + 2πr²

    Radius = 1/2 diameter

    Radius = 1/2 (5.8)

    Radius = 2.9

    A = 2 (3.14) (2.9) (11.9) + 2 (3.14) (2.9) ²

    A = 216.7228 + 52.8148

    A = 269.5376mm²

    Radius=5.8/2=2.9 mm

    Surface area=2πr (h+r)

    =2*3.14*2.9 (11.9+2.9)

    =6*41.18*14.8

    =3656.784 mm²
