Same as you multiply and if the denominators are not the same you just list the common multiples which ever goes first then whatever number equals the common denominator you multiply the top and then if you get a number like this 2/14 it can be simplify it into 1/7 your welcome

1) simplify the fractions of not in the lowest term.
2) multiply the numerator of the fractions tho get the new numerator.
3) multiply the denominator of the fractions to get the new denominator
