A cross-country skier skied at a rate of 10.82 miles per hour. In 2.45 hours, the skier covered 2.6509 miles.

Is this correct? Explain why or why not.

    It is wrong, if you multiply 10.82 times 2.45 you would get 26.509. They got you. So in conclusion the answer is no.
