Jose is painting a backdrop for the school play. The rectangular backdrop is 60 inches by 45 inches. If his container of paint can cover 25 square feet, does he have enough paint to paint the backdrop?

    60" is 5' and 45" is equal to 3'9".

    A = Bh

    A = 5 (3.75)

    A = 18.75 ft^2

    The can has enough paint to fill 25 ft^2 and the square is only 18.75 ft^2
