3 cups mayonnaise will he need to make 9 times the recipe

    Step-by-step explanation:

given that it takes 1 / 4 cups of mayonnaise to make 3 / 4 cups of tuna fish salad

For 1 cup of tuna fish salad maynonnaise required = 1/3 cups.

When tuna fish salad increases mayonnaise also increases.

    So this is direct variation

Hence for preparing 9 times the recipe,

    Requd mayonnaise = 9*1/3 = 3 cups

3 cups mayonnaise will he need to make 9 times the recipe
