A contractor digs a rectangular hole that is 40 feet long and 10.5 feet deep. If the contractor digs the hole 2 feet deeper, how much additional dirt will he remove

    2 feet is the hight/depth

    volume=legnth times wdth times height

    if he digs 2 feet more, he will dig 2 height

    assuming the hole is the same width and legtn

    volume of dirt taken out mre=40*10.5*2=840 ft^2
