The tens digit of a two-digit number exceeds its units digit by 4. the number exceeds twice the number obtained by reversing the digits of the original number by 10. what is the original number?

    Let 10x+y be the original number.

    x=y+4

    10x+y=2 (10y+x) + 10

    Then 11y+40=22y+18

    y=1, x=5

    Hence the original number is 51
