Ms. Everett found birthday cards in packs of 6 and envelops in packs of 9. If she wants to have the same number of cards and envelops, what is the minimum number of each she can purchase?

    You need to do this LCM (least common multiples)

    6,12,18,24,30,36

    9,18,27,36,45,54

    18 is your answer.
