    This is a least common multiple question.

    6: 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36

    8: 8, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48

    The least common multiple is 24. Therefore, the next time that both lines leave the station will be 4:24 PM.

    We have to calculate the least common multiple of 6 and 8.

    6=2.3

    8=2³

    Least common multiple fo 6 and 8=2³ * 3=8*3=24.

    Each 24 minutes the red line and blue line leave together the stadium, therefore the next time will be at 4:24 Pm
