    First side - 6

    Second side - 15

    Third side - 17

    Step-by-step explanation:

    The triangle has three sides and when added together they equal 38.

    So if the second side is x, then the other sides are x-9 and x+2.

    So x+x - 9 + x+2 = 38.

    3x-7 = 38

    3x = 45

    x=15 so the second side is 15.

    So the first side is x-9 = 15-9 = 6

    The third side is x+2 = 15+2=17
