Give the slope and the y-intercept of the line y = - 8 x + 10. Make sure the y-intercept is written as an ordered pair.

    Y=mx+b is slope-intercept form. M is the slope so the slope would be - 8. B in the y-intercept which is 10. The y-intercept is where your line crosses the y-axis, so the x-coordinate is 0. The ordered pair is (0, 10).
