How do you use numerical expressions to solve real-world problems?

We use numerical expressions to solve real world problems everyday to figure out things like how much is something on sale, how much of something you need in cooking something in who you alter how much you are making, if you need to divide something, figure out space ect. We use math to solve these things in expressions because its easier to get an answer
