What is the length of the hypotenuse of a right triangle whose legs measure 24 in. and 32 in.

    Using c² = a²+b²

    The length of the hypotenuse = √24² + 32²

    = √576 + 1024

    =√1600

    = 40 in. (As, length can't be negative)
