You can either divide by negative 1, multiply by a negative

If you are solving for a value, you can divide by - 1
For example:
-x=5 (divide by - 1)
x=-5
If you have an equation, you can negate every part
For example:
-x^2-2x+7=0 (negate)
x^2+2x-7=0
