To answer this question you need to know the conversion rate from kilometer into cm. For every kilometer it would be 1000m and for 1m it will be 100cm. That mean 1km is equal to 100,000cm or 10^5 cm. Then the answer would be:
(3.34 * 10^5 cm) * (1km/10^5cm) = 3.34km
