Hans brought 3 CDs that were each on the same price. Including sales tax, he paid of total of $52.50. Each CD had a tax of $0.90. What was the price of each CD before tax?

    If the total was 52.50, then subtract 2.7 to get the price for the 3 cds without tax.

    52.50-2.7 = $49.8
