    Step-by-step explanation:

    It is really easy once you understand the concept.

    Let's start with an easy example.

    x^2+6x=-2

    Add 9 on both sides to get a perfect square

    x^2+6x+9=7

    Then factor on the left

    (x+3) ^2=7

    Then get the square root

    x+3=+7 x+3=-7

    x=4 x=-10

    Another example.

    x^2+12x+32=0

    Subtract 32 from both sides

    x^2+12x=-32

    Add 36 on both sides to get a perfect square

    x^2+12x+36=4

    Factor

    (x+6) ^2=4

    Get the square root

    x+6=2 x+6=-2

    x=-4 x=-8
