Sam sold 5 water bottles for every 3 water bottles David sold. Together they sold 160 water bottles. How many did each sell?

    They both sold 20

    Step-by-step explanation

    5+3 equals 8

    Than I divided 8 by 160, got 20

    then divide the 8 back to 5 and 3

    5 x 20 is 100

    3 x 20 is 60

    100+60=160
