First ask you self what is in the hundred thousands place?
The 8
What digit is to the right of the 8?
The 1
Since 1 is not bigger than 5, you keep the 8 the same.
800,000 is your answer.

Remember rounding rules? I'll tell you. If the number to the right of the one you are rounding is less than 5, the number stays the same. 5-9, the number rounds up. That means that the 8 stays the same, meaning that the answer is 800,000
