3/4 (3x + 4) = 4 (x + 6)
9x/4 + 3 = 4x + 24
9x/4 - 4x = 24 - 3
9x/4 - 4x = 21
multiply by 4 on both sides
9x - 16x = 84
-7x = 84
x = 84 / - 7
x = - 12
