The number of miles T a forager honeybee flies in its lifetime L (in days) can be modeled by T = m (L-21), where m is the number of miles it flies each day. Solve this equation for L.

    T = m (L - 21)

    Divide both sides by m

    T/m = L-21

    Add 21 to both sides

    T/m + 21 = L
