In the parabola y = (x + 1) 2 + 2, what is the vertex?

    The formula for a parabola is (y-k) = (x-h) ^2, or y = (x-h) ^2 + k, so the vertex in that parabola would be (-1, 2).

    Vertex: (-1,2)

    as general form is y=a (x-p) ^2+q and vertex is (p, q)

    so p=-1 ands q=2 so vertex is (-1,2)
