If f (x) = 3x-5 and g (x) = x+3 find (f-g) (x)

    f (x) = 3x-5

    g (x) = x+3

    (f-g) (x) = 3x-5 - (x+3) = 3x - 5 - x - 3 = 2x-8

    (f-g) (x) = 2x - 8
