After 3 hours we will have 6 doublings.

    2^6 = 64

Therefore the number of bacteria will be 80 * 64 =

    5,120 bacteria

14,400 bacteria cells in the Petri dish

    Step-by-step explanation:

3 hours in minutes is 180

    so I multiplied 180 times 80 to get 14,400
