    The gross total amount that has to be paid by Isabella’s mom is equal to the summation of the amount paid for the games, pizza, and tokens. If we let x be this total, the equation becomes,

    x = ($7) + 6 ($3.5) + ($17.25) + 10 ($4)

    x = $85.25

    Because she has a coupon for 1/10 of the total bill, the amount that she is to pay is only 9/10 of the total amount.

    x = ($85.25) (9/10)

    x = $76.725

    Hence, the total amount that has to be paid by Isabella’s mom is $76.725.
