The square below has side 6x. Find the area of the square remaining after a circle of radius 4x is removed from the square; in other words, find the area of the shaded region in factored form

    I'm sure what the shaded region is. But if you remove the circle, the remaining area will be (6x) ^2 - π (4x) ^2
