If you wanted to reduce a 8 by 6 rectangle by a ratio of 1/4, what would the dimensions of the new rectangle be?

    Answer=2 by 1.5

    Rectangle = 8 by 6

    Reduced Rectangle = 1/4 (8) by 1/4 (6)

    Reduced Rectangle = 2 by 1.5
