    We can think of a whole number as being "number/1", so the reciprocal is just like "flipping it over"

    in any math course you take, reciprocal basically means to flip something. for example, if you had the fraction - 3/5 the fraction would then become 5/-3. never flip the negative signs unless you need to negate a fraction in a math problem.

    To find the reciprocal of a fraction, simply exchange the top and bottom of the fraction

    The reciprocal of a number is sometimes expressed as the number raised to the power of negative one
