The base radius of an ice cream cone is 3.5 cm and the slant height is 6.5 cm. What is the capacity of the ice cream cone and its surface area (to the nearest hundredth) ?

    Height^2 = slant height^2 - r^2

    Height^2 = 6.5^2 - 3.5^2

    Height^2 = 42.25 - 12.25

    Height^2 = 30

    Height = 5.477

    Cone Volume = (π • r² • h) : 3

    Cone Volume = (3.1416 * 3.5^2 * 5.477) / 3

    Cone Volume = 70.26

    Lateral Area = (π • r • slant height)

    Lateral Area = (3.1416 * 3.5 * 6.5)

    Lateral Area = 71.47
