    Total weight is 3.5

    3.5=p+greenbeans

    3.5-p=greenbeans

    cost=p times 4.5+greenbeens times 3.75

    total cost=9.75

    sub 3.5-p for greenbeens

    9.75=4.5p+3.75 (3.5-p)

    4.5p+3.75 (3.5-p) = 9.75

    answer is C
