    Plot the equation with respect to y, so let's re-write the equation in slope intercept form:

    6x - 4y = - 24

    *subtract 6x from both sides, then divide through by - 4

    -4y = - 6x - 24

    y = (-6/-4) x + (-24/-4)

    y = (3/2) x + 6

    In slope intercept form:

    y = mx + b

    where:

    m = slope

    b = y-intercept

    To answer the question, the line crosses the vertical axis line at 6 units up and has a positive slope where the rise 3 units and the run is 2 units
