In your class, 77 students do not receive a weekly allowance, 55 students receive $3$3, 77 students receive $5$5, 33 students receive $6$6, and 22 students receive $8$8. What is the mean weekly allowance?

    The mean can be calculated by adding all the summation of numbers and divide it by how many total numbers there are, such as shown below:

    Add total allowances = $0 (for 77 students) + $3 (for 55 students) + $5 (for 77 students) + $6 (for 33 students) + $8 (for 22 students)

    Total allowances=$0+$3+$5+$6+$8 = $22

    Total # of students = 77 + 55 + 77 + 33 + 22 = 264 students

    Mean=Total allowances/total students

    Mean=$22/264

    Mean = $0.0833
