To find the area of a rectangle multiply length by width.

The dimensions are both binomials though. Use FOIL to multiply binomials by multiplying each term in the first binomial by the terms in the second binomial.

    (2x-7) (3x+4)

    6x^2+8x-21x-28

    Now combine like terms.

    answer : 6x^2-13x-28
