Radley delivers flower bouquets for a local flower shop. He can deliver 12 bouquets in 1 hour and 30 minutes.

What is his rate in bouquets per hour?

    30 minutes is 1/2 hours so 1 hour 30 minutes is 1.5 hours

    12 bouquets per 1.5 hours so 12/1.5 and they want x bouquets per 1 hour so x/1

    x/1=12/1.5

    x=8 bouquets per hour
