A Greek runs along a distance of 16,300 feet. About how many miles long is the creek?

    At first I was afraid that you were making an ethnic stereotype.

    You can't imagine how relieved I was when I read to the end

    and discovered that it was only a typo, un-proofread.

    1 mile = 5,280 feet

    (16,300 feet) x (1 mile / 5,280 feet) = (16,300 / 5,280) mile = 3.087 ... mile.
