The possible numbers when two dice are rolled is 2-12incusive

Of these only 4 and 9 are perfect squares

The probability 4 is rolled is 3/36

The probability that a 9 is rolled is 4/36

    So p (4 or 9)

    3/36 + 4/36

    = 7/36
