If the price of an item is P dollars, describe in words how you calculate C (P), the cost of the item.

    Depending on the price of the item and where you live the cost would change say you lived in Alberta you wouldnt have to pay provincial tax when paying for goods you just have to pay gst (goods and services tax) so say you are buying something that costs $14.47 you that that and times it buy 1.05 and you would get $15.19 the reason why the tax is 1.05 is cause you paying for 100% of the goods then paying. 05 for the service.
