Show that 3 is a zero of the polynomial 2x^3-x^2-13x-6.

    P (x) = 2x³-x²-13x-6

    p (3) = 2 (3) ³ - 3² - 13*3 - 6

    = 2*27 - 9-39-6

    = 54-9-39-6

    = 0

    therefore 3 is the zero of the polynomial.
