    Let the butter be a

    the caster be b

    and the flour be c

the ratio of flour to butter is c:a=275:220

    in simplest form is 5:4

to scale the recipe we need to figure the caster ratio, so a:b:c is 220:110:275

    simplified is 4:2:5

so the scale is 4:2:5 into 660:b:825

    by dividing 660 by 4 or 825 by 5

you get 165 multiply it by 2

    and you get 330

therefore you need 330 grams of caster to make the scale
