    -10v^9+8v^6+2v^5

    10=5*2

    8=2^3

    2=2

    The common factor is 2 and its least exponent is 1

    The least exponent for the variable v is 5

    Then, the GFC of the polynomial is 2v^5

    Factoring:

    2v^5 [ - (10v^9) / (2v^5) + (8v^6) / (2v^5) + (2v^5) / (2v^5) ] =

    2v^5 (-5v^ (9-5) + 4v^ (6-5) + 1) =

    2v^5 (-5v^4+4v+1)
