    G + c = 120

    g to c = 2/3 or 2:3 ... added = 5

    2/5 (120) = 240/5 = 48 goats

    3/5 (120) = 360/5 = 72 cows

    if the horses represent 25%, then the (goats + cows) represent 75%

    75% of total animals = 120

    0.75x = 120

    x = 120/0.75

    x = 160 ... total animals

    horses = 25% of 160 ... 0.25 (160) = 40 horses

    answer : ratio of horses to other animals : 40/120 reduces to 1/3 or 1:3 as a ratio.

    there are 160 total animals, of which 40 are horses, 48 are goats and 72 are cows
