Tim's phone service charges $24.78 plus an additional $0.24 for each text message sent per month. If Tim's phone bill was $30.78,

which equation could be used to find how many text messages, x, Tim sent last month?

OA. $0.24x - $24.78 = $30.78

OB. $0.24x + $24.78 = $30.78

OC. $24.78x - $0.24 = $30.78

OD. $24.78x + $0.24 = $30.78

    It would be B. $0.24x+$24.78 = $30.78.

24.78 is the constant where that is the starting value. For each text 0.24 is added on so that would be multiplied with x, which is the number of texts sent.
