Luna had a 50$ when she got to the carnival. after riding 12 rides, she had 26$ left. what equation can be used to represent this situation?

    Let's see ... We don't know how much the rides cost, so we can use x to represent that.

    26=50-12x

    This is the equation. There we go!

    Now, if you want to take it a step further and solve for x:

    26-50=50-50-12x

    -24=-12x

    24 = 12x

    x=2

    So each ride cost $2.
