If 3 pounds of apples costs $0.90 how much will 10 pounds cost?

    If 3 pounds of apples cost 90 cents, that means 1 pound of apples would cost 30 cents.

    I found this out because I divided the weight of the apples by 3 to get 1 apple, and I did the same to the price.

    30 cents times 10 would be $3.00
